What is Cactusweelde - Antwerp?

Cactusweelde Antwerp is, in 2004, 50 years young.
The officials and members exchange experience and knowledge about growing cacti and other succulents. We will be most happy to welcome you and share our mutual interest. At Cactusweelde Antwerp advice is sure not a burden but a pleasure to share it with you.
Cactusweelde Antwerp has branches all over Flanders so that you sure will find a place nearby.

  1. As a full member you will receive our full colour National magazine "CaVeKa". It is a Dutch language magazine that meets international standards.·
  2. The full and associate members receive also monthly our society newsletter. In this newsletter we give reports of our monthly meetings, announcements of all major events such as expositions, open doors by fellow enthusiasts and practical advice on how to cultivate succulents in the most common way,...

A few examples of subjects on our monthly meetings:

 
  1. Slide shows on succulent habitats, collections and subjected plant discussions.
  2. Visits of fellow members and succulent nurseries.
  3. Advice and hands-on practice concerning sowing, grafting care-taking of cacti and other succulent plants in general.
  4. While visiting our monthly meeting you can loan books out off our library. We are proud to have a very complete library on the subjects of cacti and other succulents.
